Lyric: Akon was huge too, but he sucks, so you shouldn’t care about him
T-Pain was also huge, but you shouldn’t care about him either, ’cause he was just okay
Hinder had 2 hits too, but wait, they also suck

Lyric: Fall Out Boy, thanks for the memories and the hit songs
Annotation:
Here, Gage alludes to Fall Out Boy and arguably their most iconic hit (at least on this year end), Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, paying tribute to Pete Wentz & Patrick Stump’s iconic line: “Thanks for the memories, even if they weren’t so great” Boy Cash takes this metaphor for things not always being what they seem in a “grass is greener” type way and uses it as a masterful callback to one of the most iconic hits of the decade.

Lyric: Number one was owned by Beyonce (Queen Bee)
Timbaland was big along with Justin Timberlake (JT)

For example, in the line: “Number one was owned by Beyonce (Queen Bee) Boy Cash takes note of Irreplaceable, one of Beyonce’s most iconic and recognizable hit songs of her entire career until this point, and also pays tribute to defining artists and producers that helped shape the pop music scene to where it was, such as Timbaland, Fergie, Rihanna & Maroon 5.

I checked out the year end Hot 100 for 2007

And in the end, how was it

Lyric: This is Breezy Ca$h on the beats
 These beats are so gay
Annotation:
This is BoyCash’s iconic producer tag, taking his incredible producer line and nickname (Breezy Ca$h & “These beats are so gay”) and putting them under a more introspective context, given the favorable, yet sombre production here taken from My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black Parade”. BoyCash is also noted to be straight.
